It is so important to find balance in your life. I was blessed to have an easy going disposition. My mother was like that so I thank her for the gene. I don't stress and just make the best of what ever situation comes my way. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
hugs,

We live in a very busy world today. With the ladies holding down a job, then going home to put a meal on the table for her family as well as juggling all the other jobs she must do, it is difficult for her to find the time to spend in the Word. This sounds like it might be very helpful. Thanks for sharing at my HOME.

Blessings,

I did not think any of your suggestions were manipulating. I think using the word "sneaky" was misleading because I didn't think they were sneaky at all. Those of us with husbands who do not take the lead spiritually (even though saved), use this way of communicating all the time. It is being honest and compromising (because you may want to stay at an event longer but are willing to leave early because that is what HE is comfortable with.) A lot of husbands need this extra encouragement to get to church or an event, and if you asked them, they probably appreciate that their wives approach it this way. Thanks for your honest articles!

What a beautiful chair and what a wise hubby you have. I too suffered for years trying so hard to be perfect I couldn't do anything. Now that I am much (MUCH) older and hopefully wiser failure does not bother me as much. I think of this quote often and realize that it is so true. "Disguised as adversity, blessings are heaped upon us."
