In your mundane moments today, just remember that all you truly have is the moment. This moment will pass, and another will take its place. And it might be even more mundane than this one. . . and not nearly as precious!
If you want to live in America, you have to pay the piper, better known as the tax man! We won’t even get into the constitutionality of income taxes in this blog, but there are certain taxes that you have to pay — even while kicking and screaming! You might not agree with how they spend the money, but as law-abiding citizens we pay our taxes — albeit grudgingly.
You must be proactive in protecting your vineyard, the vineyard which represents all the benefits of your marriage, all the things that should be held sacred and intimate between you and your husband. Gifts such as respect, honor, trust, regard, tenderness, love, affection, admiration and purity. A world without God is a world of nonexistence, just like a moment of focusing on God, is real, is life sustaining, is rest and peace. Today, rest in peace, as you take time to free your mind of everything of the world, and instead focus on Him, through whom everything was made.
Response is powerful! It’s the difference between famine and abundance!
Are you experiencing famine or abundance in your marriage at this particular season? God created marriage as the one place where two people can enjoy abundance within the covenant of two becoming one. And if there is famine of intimacy, it can be alleviated by the power of response.
Most of the things that catch us off guard, cannot be planned for, but you can be prepared nonetheless. And how? By being filled with the Spirit at all times, realizing that in Him we live and move and have our being, knowing that He will never leave us or forsake us, and that He will equip us for every good work. All you can do, is keep your lamp trimmed, full of oil, and ready. . . to be of service to the bridegroom when He calls.
