P31 Post 10: So Easy An Average Woman Can Do It!

So far, all of these qualities we’ve addressed while studying the Proverbs 31 Woman are so simple that an average woman can do it! In fact, they’re so easy a pet could do most of them. . . ;)

(Click on any of these colored links to go back and review the qualities.)

She is valuable.

She is loyal.

She brings good.

She cheerfully accomplishes tasks and enjoys new projects.

She provides nutritious and sustaining food.

And yet, these qualities are so important that no one else can do it as well as you can. It just wouldn’t be the same coming from Fido!

There may be many mothers in the world, but you are the world to your child!

No one can love your family like you can. You have a great gift to give them. Wouldn’t you like to be a hero sometime in your life? Well, if you are a wife or mother, you are a hero. Is it enough to be a hero to a few small children and a man? Or do you need the acclaim of the world to satisfy your vanity? Ouch. . . :)

Truth is, that as mundane as it can be on some days, and as thankless as it can be on others, there are few things that bring the lifelong satisfaction and contentment to a woman as being a wife and mother. . . ask the grannies of the world!

So, I hope you have been enjoying this Proverbs 31 For The Average Woman Series. (And maybe you could mention it to a friend at church, who might need some encouragement; I’d love to have her come along on this adventure!)

Sometimes all it takes to accomplish something great is the will to do it. If you could muster up the will to become average enough to accomplish all of these qualities, then you have the potential to be a Proverbs 31 Woman.

You are a woman of noble character. A woman who has the potential to change her world. A woman who will be a hero to her husband and children. A woman who does important things. . . well.

A woman that others rise up to call blessed — but we’ll save that for another day!

Have a glorious Lord’s Day!
