It’s Monday, and time for Money Monday.

Here’s a short and sweet message about profit and how it relates to the Proverbs 31 Woman.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good; Proverbs 31:18a

ta’am. . . cachar. . . towb

taste. . . profit. . . bountiful

The Proverbs 31 Woman literally tastes her profits (the gain from her merchandise) and assesses it as good.

This is the same good that God perceived in Genesis 1, at the end of every day when He saw what He had created and said, “It was good.”

The Proverbs 31 Woman is discriminating.

She has a good eye for profit and value.

She knows the difference between good and bad, and isn’t afraid to say so.

She consumes the fruit of her labor, and decrees, “It is good.”

There is nothing wrong with expecting (and enjoying) a profit. A laborer would be foolish to work just to get by. The laborer is worthy of his hire, and the Proverbs 31 Woman not only makes a profit, but enjoys the taste of her profit!

The rewards of her labor are sweet!

Here’s hoping that you enjoy the taste of financial success in your endeavors and in your labor. I hope that your profit is as sweet and as energizing as honey, and may you enjoy the fruit of your labor as a scrumptious reward for your efforts.
