Intimacy is a private reservation; two become one; 30 Days to Intimacy

We’re taking a journey as we read the devotional 30 Days to Intimacy. Download the book here or borrow it for free with Amazon Prime.

Each day contains a devotional reading, with an area for self-reflection, and journaling, tips for enhancing intimacy, and a prayer for guidance and meditation.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll find in Day 12: Reserved For A Private Party

Song of Solomon creates a beautiful metaphor of love as a banquet, and intimacy is like a private reservation for a party of two becoming one.

In the early morning hours, while the sun is just a hopeful possibility of potential pink, or in the late afternoon, while the magenta memories of the day are spreading like a satin sheet across the horizon, or in the moonlit moments of mounds of secluded and daring mysterious midnight meetings — that is when your vineyard is a private and romantic retreat from the busy day.

Strolling the deck:

How is a romantic liaison beneficial to you?

What do you enjoy about those times of passionate and romantic love?

Get away to your vineyard soon. Reserve it for a private party, for your very own needs, a selfishly sublime moment where your desires are utmost, and you set the table with your favorite delicacies. Invite your lover to partake–on your terms! You deserve it — and he agrees — and will thank you for the invitation! So go prepare your menu with all your favorites!

Father, even as your word says you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, I know that you want me to be satisfied, even in the midst of conflict. And this day, even in the midst of cares and concerns, help me to redeem the time and find a place of solace with my lover, my husband. Satisfy me with his love, and help me to be as one bringing him contentment.

Hope you make your reservation for a private party!
